The development and promotion of the practice of Career Dramaturgy is part of The Artist at Work's larger mission to merge two areas of professional practice and specialize in career planning and support for artists in particular. However, Career Dramaturgy is for everyone -- not just artists.
The process of Career Dramaturgy is informed by Angele's years of expertise as a playwright and career services provider. It allows the client to take a holistic view of the self into consideration through the employment of narrative-building technique and character development reflection exercises.
In other words, this new and developing framework aims to give clients the tools to shape their own career stories and clarify their values, priorities, interests and overall sense of purpose within their full narrative context.
